TNA: The Whole F’n Show - Review

The showed a graphic telling us Hogan was giving us a surprise later. That always turns out well. There was a slightly different set with no ramp up to the ring.
Kurt Angle def. AJ Styles
Borash said this match was non-title. Could have SWORN AJ said he would be defending this TV title thing every week. [...]

TNA HardCORE Justice Review

The geek who used to announce for ECW is tonight’s ring announcer. They have black turnbuckles and black ropes.  They also have blue lights which looks more like Xplosion than ECW. John Finnegan is in attendance to referee.
Fans chant E-C-Dub to open the show.
The announcer dude introduces Taz who cuts a promo on the show. [...]

Impact is E V2.0 Review - 29/07/2010

This show kicked off in FINE form.
Just lookit. Raven looks a mess. A fucking mess. These geeks were in the ring, and Dreamer was hyping up the PPV. The crowd were going bat shit crazy for this and I don’t know why. Dreamer said there was some legal problems with the alphabet. Ooo, I get [...]

TNA Impact Review 22/07/2010

DIXIE arrives, and the big billed main event is an explanation for why she invited the ECW geeks into the Impact Zone last week. Stay tuned. We also get the two advertised matches (Hernandez vs. Kurt, Match 2 of the title series) from last week, plus Joe vs. Hardy! Should be good.

Therefore, I decided to [...]

Sympathy Sells - Why John Cena & Batista are not over as faces.

Selling in wrestling is the art of putting a situation or storyline over by portraying the situation as real, i.e. “Selling” it to the crowd. Nowadays, it is widely acknowledged that selling is the way a wresler reacts to, say a punch or a chairshot.org (little plug for the site there), and the resultant distress. [...]

News and Rumours: WWE and TNA’s contract disputes and more.

WWE is apparently frantic in their attempts to get Jeff Hardy to sign a new contract. Rumours are circulating that the former WWE Champion is unwilling to renew his contract which expires later this year. Hardy is apparently growing weary of the industry, specifically the constant traveling and is looking to take some time out. [...]
