The Writers

Meet the writers!

Limericklad.

I never thought this would happen. Quite honestly, not too long ago, I would never have thought I would even watch professional wrestling again. However, when I began to watch again in 2008 I remembered why I loved it so much in the first place. I hadn’t watched since the dying days of the attitude era when I was a young kid, so returning to the sport now, knowing more about it than I did back then, it began to consume my life all over again. I was a frequent poster on Pilkipedia forums (www.pilkipedia.co.uk/forum) and noticed that there was a large following of wrestling fans on there, and as such I began to exchange some thoughts with the other users. Soon it became my main reason for logging on! Like any great sport, I could really lose track of time just dissecting and analysing the latest happenings in the industry and just get lost in debates and discussions with other users. Then, when Gtpod said that he was considering setting up ChairShot.org, I couldn’t resist the idea of actually writing about the sport I love so much. Over the coming weeks, months and hopefully years, I’ll be bringing you news round ups and opinions, PPV reviews (old and new) as well as lists such as my favourite matches, wrestlers and some other more interesting topics that you’ll just have to log on to find out about.

Thanks for checking out the site, make sure to register and follow the blog.

Peace,

Barry

Dam Helder

Veteran grap fan, since the start of the WWF’s attitude era in 1996 to 2009’s overbooked madness in TNA. Big ROH fan an’ all. Basically, I like to believe that I have somewhat of an encyclopaedic knowledge of the on-screen happenings in the biz, as well as a strong understanding of the behind the scenes guff.

I’m like half Finlay, half Rene Dupree.
